On
the Road
In addition to presenting exhibitions
at the Denver Art Museum, the Asian Art Department organizes shows
that travel to other museums and galleries. It also lends individual
objects to exhibitions in the United States and abroad. Staff
members lecture, write catalogs, and provide curatorial services
for outside exhibitions. By going on the road, the collections
and staff of the Asian Art Department reach a larger number of
people with an interest in Asian art and culture.
