17 Artists Take Over the DAM

Get to know artists of Embrace! at Logan Lectures and Lunch Box events. The Logan Lectures spring 2010 series, Artists on Art—Embrace!, continues through June. Don’t miss the chance to hear Tobias Rehberger (February 17), Rupprecht Matthies (March 17), Nicola López (April 21), John McEnroe (May 19), and Lawrence Weiner (June 23) talk about their installations. Can’t make it to the lectures? Join us for Lunch Box events on the Thursday following each Logan Lecture (except for Lawrence Weiner’s lecture in June). Meet in the Hamilton Building lobby at noon and walk to the gallery with the artist to view their work and ask questions. Lunch Box is included with general admission and no reservations are needed—just show up!

On Monday, January 25, museum members can see Embrace! in a whole new light. Join director/curator Christoph Heinrich for a lecture that takes you behind the scenes of the exhibition, view the spectacular installations after dark, take a docent-led tour of the show, and explore our new Museum Shop. The entire Hamilton Building will be open from 5 to 9 pm for members only.

Advance tickets are required for the lecture, which is offered at 5 or 7 pm at a cost of $10 per member. Capacity is limited, so call 720-913-0130 (Monday–Friday, 9 am–5 pm) to reserve your tickets today.
