The Denver Art Museum welcomes visitors with disabilities and their families to a multisensory experience of our summer blockbuster exhibition, Marvelous Mud.
The Denver Art Museum is fully accessible to visitors with disabilities. You'll find designated accessible parking spots in the Cultural Complex Garage (enter on 12th Avenue between Broadway and Bannock) and at metered spaces along 13th and 14th Avenues.

ADMISSION IS FREE, no reservations needed. Show this flyer or mention Access Day to a cashier at any welcome desk to receive your admission ticket.
- Doors open one hour early for Access Day visitors, from 9 am–10 am.
- Join an exhibition tour with American Sign Language interpretation.
- Take a guided tour with touchable materials.
- Enjoy a variety of activities in the Mud Studio, including a live artist demonstration, touchable clay objects and samples, and clay to work with your own hands (adaptable tools available).
- Willing to get messy? Assist adobe builders Bill and Athena Steen to sculpt and mold a giant earthen playground outside on the plaza.
- Find gallery Hotspots where you can decorate Mayan chocoloate cups, try your hand at Hopi tile painting, or add to a clay animation film.
- Wheelchairs are available free on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Marvelous Mud offers a multisensory museum-wide experience all summer. If you can't attend on Access Day, visit another time. Our staff strives to make the museum as accessible as possible for all visitors. Email access@denverartmuseum.org with questions about accommodations.
